Crane accidents

New York City officials have halted work after another crane collapse that damaged apartments and killed two workers late last week. Mayor Michael Bloomberg does not admit that this or or other crane accidents are the result of the city's buildings department mismanagement of safety issues at construction projects but reiterated the need to inspect cranes to ensure the safety of other sites. Earlier this year, seven people were killed in a similar crane collapse. The balance test of gravity of harm versus the effort needed to avoid accidents dictates a policy of zero tolerance in New York City and other metropolitan areas. http://www.bailey-law.com/lawyer-attorney-1215840.html
